Six months ago I never would have wanted another photographer’s criticism or opinions because I was so nervous that someone would tell me I had a lot of work to do to get where I want to be.
When I finally gathered up the courage to meet with someone I chose Emily Davis Photography. Emily didn’t criticize my work nor was she negative. Emily truly helped me understand where I was and where I want to be and how to get there. She answered all the small questions and big questions that a new photographer hasn’t experienced and she challenged me to make goals for my business that I never would’ve done on my own.
I learned how to have the quickest turn around when editing sessions, how to interact with my clients during a session, and how to build a relationship with each and every past/present/future client. I’ve already begun taking the steps to truly get my business where I want to be and I’m so excited that Emily has pushed me and challenged me to do that!
Here are the images from our mock engagement session on the Denton square. We walked around Denton square but to learn more about angles and less than perfect locations, we walked around the outside of the square where you would never think to stop. I learned how to use the 70-200mm during a portrait session to essentially crop out all the ugly parts of the location.
