Bryson and Emily’s Warwick Melrose wedding was classic, elegant, and full of sweet moments with the people they love most. From getting ready and portraits to their ceremony and reception, so much of their wedding day took place at this iconic Dallas hotel.
The Warwick Melrose has such a timeless feel for a wedding day. The historic architecture, brick exterior, beautiful interiors, and surrounding grounds gave us plenty of variety throughout the day without having to travel between several locations.
Getting Ready at the Warwick Melrose
Bryson and Emily each spent the beginning of their wedding day getting ready at the hotel with their closest friends and family.
Some of my favorite moments from this part of the day were the quieter ones. Emily shared a first look with her bridesmaids before having such a sweet moment with her dad. Meanwhile, Bryson spent the morning getting ready with his groomsmen.
Having so much of the day at one location also meant we could easily step outside for portraits around the Warwick Melrose before the ceremony began.
A Classic Black-Tie Wedding in Dallas
Bryson and Emily chose such a timeless look for their wedding. Emily wore a fitted white gown with her hair in soft waves. Her bridesmaids wore black, while Bryson and his groomsmen kept the look classic in black tuxedos.
The black and white color palette worked beautifully against the historic architecture of the hotel. We photographed the wedding party and Bryson and Emily around the property before everyone gathered for the ceremony.
A Warwick Melrose Wedding Ceremony
Their ceremony was filled with white florals and greenery, creating a soft and romantic setting inside the Warwick Melrose.
After walking down the aisle with her dad, Emily joined Bryson at the front of the room surrounded by their family and friends. The two exchanged vows and rings before officially becoming husband and wife.
And then it was time to celebrate!
Wedding Reception at the Warwick Melrose
The celebration continued inside the hotel with dinner, toasts, cake, and plenty of dancing.
Bryson and Emily shared their first dance surrounded by their guests before the dance floor opened for the evening. From there, the reception quickly turned into a party.
Their wedding film captures everything from the quiet anticipation at the beginning of the day to a packed dance floor at the end of the night. Those little transitions are part of what makes a full wedding day so fun to look back on.
