Prather Park in Highland Park is such a beautiful location. The trees create soft shade, and the light filters through in the prettiest way. It gives every session a relaxed and natural feel.
Spencer + Carson chose this spot for their morning fall mini session, and it fit them so well. The setting paired perfectly with their outfits and the overall feel of the morning.
A Playful Session with George Dubya
They brought along their Cavapoo, George Dubya, and he completely stole the show. He was full of energy and personality the entire time. From walking through the grass to being held close, he kept us all laughing.
You can tell how much they love bringing him along for their adventures. They shared that they enjoy traveling together, especially when George Dubya gets to come too. It made the session feel even more personal.
A Relaxed and Joyful Fall Mini Session
This was my first time meeting Spencer + Carson, and they were so easy to photograph. They were calm, joyful, and fully present with each other. That always makes such a difference in how a session feels.
We kept everything simple and natural. We walked through the park, paused in a few favorite spots, and let moments unfold. Some of my favorite images came from those in-between moments when they were just enjoying being together.
Sessions like this are a reminder that it does not have to be complicated. A beautiful location, good light, and genuine connection are more than enough.
