The Bumpass Family | Dallas Family Session with Baby at Prather Park

There is something so sweet about this stage of life. As a Dallas family session with baby photographer, I love getting to document these early months. This fall morning session at Prather Park was calm, simple, and full of connection.

Dallas Family Session with Baby at Prather Park

Prather Park is such a beautiful spot for a morning session. The soft light filters through the trees and creates the most peaceful setting. It is especially perfect for families with little ones.

This session took place during a fall mini, and everything about it felt relaxed. The quiet pathways, greenery, and gentle light gave us the perfect backdrop.

A Calm and Joyful Season

This was my first time meeting this sweet family, and they were such a joy to photograph. They were calm, kind, and a little more on the quiet side, which made the session feel very natural.

Their baby, around six months old, was so content the entire time. She was happy, relaxed, and went along with everything we did. That made it easy to capture those genuine moments between them.

Simple Moments That Matter

We kept the session simple and focused on connection. Sitting together, holding their baby close, and letting moments unfold naturally created some of the most meaningful images.

Some of my favorite photos came from the in-between moments. A soft smile, a glance between them, or the way they held their baby all told the story of this season.

They shared that a previous client had recommended me, which always means so much. It is such an honor to be trusted in that way.

Sessions like this are a reminder that it does not take much. A peaceful location, soft light, and a connected family are more than enough.

Mom wore a beautiful green dress from Anthropologie (similar styles can be found here).
