Tyler & Kayla’s Orchard Engagement Session | Fort Worth Engagement Photographer

There is something extra special about starting the day with an engagement session, especially at a place that already holds meaning. As a Fort Worth engagement photographer at The Orchard in Azle, getting to photograph Tyler and Kayla’s sunrise session at their wedding venue felt incredibly personal from the very beginning.

February can be unpredictable. That morning gave us sunshine, soft light, and just enough warmth to stay comfortable. It felt peaceful, quiet, and slow in the best way, which matched Tyler and Kayla so well.

Their style brought everything together so effortlessly. Kayla wore the cutest white dress with black polka dots paired with cowboy boots, and Tyler complemented her perfectly in jeans, a blazer, and his cowboy hat. It had such a natural western feel without trying too hard, just very true to who they are.

We explored different areas of the property, which gave us so much variety. From hay bales that added texture and charm, to a cattle fence that leaned into that western setting, to the softer tall grass and wooded areas that felt a little more romantic and quiet. Every spot felt like it told a different part of their story.

A Western Inspired Sunrise Engagement Session

Tyler is very outdoorsy and loves to hunt, so being in a setting like this felt especially fitting for him. And Kayla has such a gift for putting together beautiful outfits. She shared that she loves finding pieces at TJ Maxx, which made me love her even more. She truly has an eye, and it showed.

More than anything, what stood out was how calm and sweet they are with each other. There was no rush, no pressure, just a steady and genuine connection that made photographing them feel easy. The kind of connection that does not need a lot of direction, it just naturally unfolds.

Their September Wedding at The Orchard

Knowing they will be getting married here in September makes this session even more meaningful. It is always so special to document the beginning of a season in the same place where vows will be made. I already know their wedding day is going to be full of so much joy.

Tyler and Kayla, I am so thankful I get to be a part of your story. I cannot wait to photograph your wedding day this fall.
