Twin Newborn Session | The Dudney Family
As a Plano studio newborn photographer, I love being able to offer families the relaxed feel of a lifestyle newborn session without having to use their own home. The Dudney family’s session was especially sweet because they were welcoming not one, but two newborn girls.
These two looked so much alike, but Mom and Dad could already tell you all the little things that made each of their daughters different.
Welcoming Two Baby Girls
Life with newborn twins is a lot, especially during those first few weeks. Both girls were dealing with reflux, and one had been eating much better than her sister. You could already see the difference in their tiny cheeks.
Mom and Dad were understandably tired, but watching them with their girls was so sweet. Even in the exhaustion of having two newborns at home, they were patient, attentive, and completely tuned into what each baby needed.

While many families love having newborn photos taken at home, an in-home session isn’t the right fit for everyone.

Remembering the Newborn Days
Newborn sessions don’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.
Babies may need to eat. They may need to be changed. They may have reflux, need extra snuggles, or decide that the only acceptable place to sleep is in Dad’s arms.
We make room for all of it.
The goal is to preserve what your family feels like during this incredibly short season. For the Dudney family, that meant two tiny girls, very tired parents, lots of snuggling, and a dad whose arms happened to be everyone’s favorite place to sleep.
