As a Bear Creek Park engagement photographer, I love discovering quiet locations that feel tucked away from the busy parts of DFW. Maggie and Lukas chose this beautiful park in Keller for their third anniversary session, and it ended up being the perfect place to celebrate this season of their lives.
One of my favorite parts of their session was that they brought along their sweet dog. She happily joined in for photos, wore the cutest bandana, and somehow managed to look right at the camera almost every time. Sessions always feel more personal when couples include the pets that are such a big part of their family.
Why I Love Bear Creek Park for Engagement Photos
Bear Creek Park has quickly become one of my favorite portrait locations. It has wide open fields, beautiful mature trees, long wooden fences, and soft evening light. Every corner feels peaceful and natural.
I also love that it offers several different looks without needing to walk very far. While I like introducing couples to unique locations, I also enjoy preserving some of the quieter spots so they can continue feeling relaxed and uncrowded.
A Relaxed Anniversary Session
Maggie and Lukas spent the evening laughing together while soaking in the golden sunset. They cuddled on a blanket beneath one of the large trees, walked hand in hand along the fence line, and paused often to love on their dog between portraits.
The neutral colors they wore photographed beautifully against the green landscape. Their outfits kept the focus on their connection while giving the entire gallery a timeless feel.
