An Arlington Hall proposal is perfect for couples looking for a quiet spot in the heart of Dallas. When Quenten began planning his proposal to Kayla, he wanted a location surrounded by greenery before dinner that evening.
After looking through several location ideas together, he chose Arlington Hall. The peaceful creek, stone bridge, and lush greenery made it the perfect setting because Kayla loves being outdoors.
Although this spot sits in the middle of Dallas, it feels quiet and tucked away. It almost feels like you’ve stepped into a hidden garden.
Arlington Hall Proposal Beside Turtle Creek
Quenten and Kayla arrived by Uber and started walking toward the proposal location.
There was one funny moment along the way. Quenten briefly forgot which path to take and quietly pulled up the map I had made for him while I stayed hidden nearby.
When they reached the creek, he noticed Kayla was still carrying her purse. Before getting down on one knee, he gently took it from her so it wouldn’t appear in their proposal photos.
He shared a few heartfelt words before asking her to marry him.
She said yes.
Even though Kayla had wondered if the proposal might happen that night, she was still completely surprised. After he slipped the ring onto her finger, she couldn’t stop looking at it.
Exploring the Creek and Stone Bridge
After celebrating for a few minutes, we explored the property together.
We photographed them beside Turtle Creek, beneath the trees, and around the beautiful stone bridge. One of my favorite parts of Arlington Hall is the mix of nature and city. From some viewpoints you can see the creek and greenery with Dallas high-rises rising above the trees.
Those little details make this location feel unique.
As the evening came to an end, another surprise was waiting. An Uber took them to dinner where both of their families were waiting to celebrate. Kayla had no idea everyone would be there, making an already unforgettable evening even sweeter.
