Josh & Heather’s proposal story is definitely one for the books!
They day started out at 4am with what Heather thought was going to be a long road trip to Paulo Duro Canyon. Turns out Josh planned a completely different trip. They drove to the airport and got on a plane to Los Angeles! It started out with riding a roller coaster on Santa Monica Pier and boogie boarding in the Pacific. Before leaving the beach Josh wanted on more picture on the beach so he set up a tripod. He then pulled out a Bible and read Psalm 8 to Heather. He asked her to turn to another passage where a note was tucked away!
On page three of the note he tells Heather that he took a trip to Kansas City without me knowing to ask for my parents’ permission. This is the moment Heather finally realized what was happening! While she was reading the note, he went behind her, buried the ring in the sand, marked it with an x, and got down on one knee.
But Heather’s surprise date to LA didn’t end there. They continued the rest of the day in LA riding around town in their convertible rental.
Such an unbelievable proposal and Josh gets all the brownie points!
