Severe wind threatened our time together for Jordan and Kaitlyn’s engagement session at the beautiful Prather Park is Dallas. However, we all decided to brave the wind in hopes that we’d get some calmness in between gusts. I’m so glad we made that decision because Jordan and Kaitlyn were such a joy to be around and photograph. The love the have for one another radiated through the camera and into their photos! The wind only gave us a slight problem when we were under a massive tree and the wind picked up so much that it blew some tiny dots of bird poop onto Jordan’s shirt! Jordan was a trooper and laughed it off, and we were all thankful it wasn’t super noticeable! It’s definitely a story to tell when they look back at their engagement photos.
Prather Park also had hidden gems throughout the park where the wind was blocked by different elements that we were able to sneak into and get a break from the gusts! This made for the perfect moments for Jordan & Kaitlyn to get close and create some romantic photos. All in all, I’d brave the wind all over again to photograph this amazing couple! Luckily, I don’t have to wait too long for their wedding! I’m so excited to get to see them again in March at The Orchard in Azle for their wedding! I know it’s going to be the best!
